What happens to the pump performance with a 1/2" discharge line?
Answer: Using a hose with a smooth interior is important to prevent flow restriction. Corrugated hoses may restrict flow. -

What size discharge hose does this take?
Answer: The 500 GPH and the 800 GPH pumps use a 3/4" discharge hose. The 1100 GPH pump uses a 1-1/8" discharge hose. -

Is this the whole assembly or a motor replacement?
Answer: This is the entire assembly. -

Can this pump be installed horizontally?
Answer: Yes, the Tournament Series pump can be mounted horizontally. Ensure it is below the waterline and the discharge port is at the high point to prevent air lock. -

If I convert the outlet to 1/2" inside diameter, will I damage the pump?
Answer: It is unlikely to damage the pump. Using a 1/2" hose may provide better pump pressure. -

Would this self prime and pump water 6 feet high to the top of a water slide?
Answer: No, it is not suitable for pumping water 6 feet high. The pump should be placed as close to the water as possible.
