The PSI Woodworking Products TM32KL 1/2-Inch Keyless Drill Chuck with #2 Morse Taper Arbor is a good chuck for drilling that can be used on a lathe or drill press. The chuck can hold a maximum of a 1/2 inch shaft drill bit and has MT2 Morse Taper which is an industry standard. It is easy to install and remove from the taper rod. The chuck protrudes from the tail stock and sometimes sticks when opening the jaws, but this is typical of most chucks. Customers have noted that it runs true, holds drills better, and is more convenient than the Jacobs key type chuck. However, some have reported that one of the jaws broke after about 20 uses, and one customer noted that it did not have a hole in the taper piece to ease removal when it is stuck in a tool.
