Answer: It depends on the shape of the vehicle being towed. My 3 year old grandson cheerfully works hard to attach vehicles, and is not very frustrated when they come loose. -

Should I purchase this or Lego Junior for a 5-year-old?
Answer: Depends on the 5yr old, and if he has had any access to Lego already. I purchased for my 2yr old grandson. He loves it. We were looking for the wheel bases to build cars. -

Answer: The recommended age is 1.5 - 5 years old. All pieces have to be large enough to not be choking hazards whenever the recommended age is less than 3 years.
