It is also suitable outdoor use, as it is highly water-resistant and can easily withstand flood and other such damages. Additionally, it can be used for protecting carpets from spills or for under closets or pool beds. Although some users have suggested that it might be too thin and could separate if somebody were doing really intense workouts. Also on some tiles, the seams are not perfectly level, and some users have complained about them being slightly slippery. The set comes with 4 tiles, and each tile comes with 2 border strips-one for the vertical and one for the horizontal. Although it is important to note that without the border, the tile measures 24.5 inches square including the "teeth." The depth of each tooth is 0.75 inch. When 2 tiles are connected together with the borders, the width is actually 49.5 inches. Although some users found this helpful in noise isolation, it isn’t recommended for this primary use. These mats are more suitable for those who need a cushioned surface to stand or exercise on for more extended periods.
