The baskets can be mounted on any bicycle that has the necessary anchor points for the vertical supports. The baskets are very heavy duty and evenly distributed, can carry loads in excess of 50 lbs. However, it is recommended not to exceed 20 lbs of weight to avoid any damage to the bicycle or scratch the vehicle hauling the bike. The baskets are pretty universal but may still require some adjustments to fit in most instances. The length of the supports is approximately 17", which will make your bike approximately 16" wider when the baskets are installed. This may scratch the vehicle hauling the bike and prevent a second bike from fitting on the carrier. If you still want to transport multiple bikes, you may need to strap or bungee the two bikes together on the carrier.
