Oatey 16 Oz. Heavy Bodied Heavy-Duty Clear PVC Cement - 1 Each
This solvent-based PVC glue is designed for joining PVC pipes that are dry and clean. It joins pipes almost immediately, within a few seconds, and creates joints that can withstand pressure when set. It does not require primer unless you want to fuse the plastic pipes. Users must take note that it is not intended for gluing a bimini top on an inflatable boat, nor is it suitable for repairing a vinyl dock bumper. In case of an odor shortly after installation, the plumbing system carrying the water should be drained by shutting the water off at the water meter and opening all faucet valves to allow the interior piping system to air dry overnight. This will dissipate most of the remaining vapors from the cement and primer. The reviews were mixed. Some users found the product to be perfect, heavy-duty, and reliable for their PVC pipe needs. However, some users encountered difficulties with the product, such as not being able to open the can, the product falling apart, and difficulty using it without dripping and fuming all over. One user found the product to be costly and had to wait for shipping.
