This inline filter/re-mineralisation cartridge is designed to be used with existing reverse osmosis systems to add minerals back into the water. It is easy to install inline with the tubing using provided fittings. However, it does not come with the necessary adapters, which need to be purchased separately. The product lasts for approximately 400 gallons before replacement. There are mixed reviews on the filter, with some customers reporting a good taste in their water, enhanced kefir growing process and it being easy to install, while others have had difficulties with installation and reported a strong soap smell or unpleasant taste in the water, or a high pH level.
