Answer: never checked the max torgue yet. But it is strong and smooth. nice gun for the price. It will last with proper maintenance. Air cat is used by professional truck tire maintenance vendors so that says a lot. -

Is there a protective cover or boot for this model?
Answer: No but the over moldings are very durable i have whiped them down with mineral spirits and also Virgin Mask Wash (think like Lacquer thinner but stronger) and the results are a clean tool. No color removal or fading of any kind. I got the mask wash on my Dewalt 1/2 impact and it resulted in the plastic looking like spider web cracks, it was only visual though. But not on the AirCat it's built with industrial shop life in mind -

What is the Break away torque?
Answer: 1300 Ftlbs. Forward and reverse. I use mine every day as a Press Mechanic for a large automotive stamping company. And this impact will flat out out perform some of the 3/4 impacts that the company owns even on 1-1/2 bolts with 3/4 adapter which is known to rob torque from the impact. Honestly I can't wait until i have all AirCat tools. Very high quality for the price. I baught this with a 1/2 AirCat drill. What the drill lacks in speed more than triples in raw power I have put all my weight behind it with a 1 drill bit and could not stall it. And I am a big guy or so i think, great products can't say enough for them -

1150 or this model??
Answer: Well, I have this model, and the 1250 model. They both perform very well. (Until I broke the anvil on my 1250). I would probably go with this model because it's a little shorter than my 1250. Gets into tighter spots. I never owned an 1150, but, from what I've read, it's pretty close to the 1250. -

So this comes with the 3 guns?
Answer: I bought 1 and I love it. If the bolt won't come loose it will snap it off .not recomend for motor blocks as it will brake off in block
