The sketch shows cap length sleeves. A photo I saw shows regular length short sleeves. Can the sleeves be shortened easily?
Answer: This pattern only has cap sleeves. -

Would cotton lawn work with this style?
Answer: Lawn: Cotton fabric is not structured enough for this top, too thin. Lawn: Lawn work in your yard is too fashionable for this Style. Maybe a cotton uniform would work for the yard. My sturdy linen has worked well for this style. -

Is this for woven or knit fabric?
Answer: Pattern description indicates woven fabric. I have not used this yet. -

How difficult would it be to make this longer and is extra length suitable for this design?
Answer: It has been a while since I made this pattern. So my answer should be considered an opinion and not fact. I think lengthening by adding an inch or two at the bust area would be fine. I think adding length at the hem would take a little skill. Putting several inches on this pattern would be difficult. I would not try to make a tunic of it.
