The Eaglemoss Hero Collector U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031-A Refit Starship is a detailed and nicely painted model replica. The triangle section of the model is made of diecast, while the saucer and nacelles are made of plastic. The detached nacelle concept was executed well, but the plastic connecting it to the ship pops off easily. Despite this, the model is a neat addition to any collection and is highly detailed. One issue with the model is that one of the warp engines has an arch that sticks out too much. However, overall the model is beautiful and well done. The ship arrived with one drooping nacelle, but this was fixable with a hairdryer. The model looks exactly like how it is imagined.
