Pfantone Preamplifiers AMP-2 Editorial Review
PRE600 Phono Preamp is a versatile audio solution perfect for anyone looking to connect their turntable to a computer for digitizing vinyl records. Users have noted its effectiveness in eliminating hum and distortion, especially when paired with older equipment. However, some reviews indicate that it may not faithfully reproduce the full frequency range, particularly in the bass spectrum, which could lead to a muddy sound. Despite some complaints regarding its construction and performance, it is generally appreciated for its ease of use and accessibility in setting up vinyl playback. Overall, while it can serve basic needs, audiophiles might look for higher-quality alternatives.
