The Digital Metronome Pitch Generator Rhythm & Beats for Musicians, Piano, Violin, Guitar is a well-made metronome that is battery operated and does not need winding. The on/off power switch is located on the back of the unit, and the slider is on the front center. The slider can be moved to the top for slow tempos and fully to the bottom for faster tempos. The volume button can be scrolled up and down, and all sounds can be controlled individually. Using the volume button and earphones is the recommended way to use this metronome with drums. It does not generate multiple tones but just a beep. The LED light at the top of the fixed slider sways back and forth but does not move like a mechanical metronome. This is a great metronome and the best one the customer has ever purchased.
