Şüphe yok ki birçok kadim şehri de yerle bir etmiş, bazılarını ise kudretinden esirgemiştir. Uzun yıllar boyunca inşa ettiği Türk-Moğol kültürü, ölümünden sonra yerini Türk-İslam kültürüne bırakmış ve Osmanlılar, Safeviler, Babürlüler gibi büyük imparatorluklar için ilham kaynağı olmuştur.
