    Answer: Remove old flaky rust, warm the can, and attach the Schutz Spray directly onto the metal.
  • Question: Is Waxoyl Schutz suitable for all vehicles?

    Answer: Yes, it's designed for classic cars, vintage vehicles, 4x4s, and other machinery.
  • Question: Will it work on lighter paint finishes?

    Answer: Yes, there is a translucent version available specifically for lighter colored cars.
  • Question: When providing a decent coverage, what area does one 5Ltr. can cover?

    Answer: A 5Ltr. can was sufficient to coat the underside of a 110 Defender and ingress areas such as doors and sills.
  • Question: How many 1Ltr. cans would be needed to coat the underside of a large Jeep 4x4?

    Answer: Depends on how much plastic is pre-fitted to wheel arches and how thick you want it, but I think 4 cans would be adequate.
  • Question: Can it be painted on?

    Answer: No, this cannot be painted on. There is a brush-on and a spray can version available, but this is not it.
  • Question: Will this 1Ltr. tin screw straight on to the Sealey SG14 spray gun?

    Answer: I got the bigger version 5L, but I can advise you that Waxoyl will dilute down in white spirit and this makes it go further and penetrate inaccessible areas.
  • Question: Can this be used to coat a new BBQ to protect it from rust?

    Answer: New or old BBQ can be coated with Waxoyl ONLY FOR STORAGE over a long period of time. Once the BBQ is removed from storage and lit up even once, the Waxoyl will burn out. The best way to preserve your BBQ is to cool it, apply leftover fat and cooking oil on its surface, wrap it up, and store it until another good day.
