    Answer: Speak to a pharmacist or your doctor before taking if you have (or have had) asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney, or bowel problems.
  • Question: Are there any quantity restrictions for purchasing Flarin?

    Answer: This product is quantity restricted and a maximum of 2 products containing paracetamol, aspirin or ibuprofen can be bought per week per customer.

  • Question: Why can't you take if you smoke?

    Answer: I started taking flarin about a month ago..having been on various painkillers for years for chronic back pain..they for me are a godsend and can't praise them high enough...but they're not for everyone.
  • Question: Are you getting 30 as it says or 12 as pictured?

    Answer: I can't seem to find packs of 30, only packs of 12 from the chemist's. So these are only packs of 12.
  • Question: Are there any vegan ibuprofen or paracetamol tablets?

    Answer: I don't think there's any difference.
  • Question: Are these any good for ringing buzzing & blocked ears as my hearing has gone?

    Answer: Hi, you do have to have your ears checked by a doctor. Probably syringed, then antibiotics ear drops, then a bit of Olive Oil on cotton wool to keep on top. Look after your ears, as your eyes. Good luck.
  • Question: Do they contain aspirin?

    Answer: Good morning. As far as I know, it contains Ibuprofen. You can go into or phone Boots and ask the Pharmacist. The patient information states not to use if you are allergic to it or aspirin. Hope this helps. Have a nice day ❤️

    Answer: Yes, it states so on the box.
  • Question: Are these an anti-inflammatory tablet?

    Answer: Yes, they contain ibuprofen which is an anti-inflammatory drug.
  • Question: What is the outer shell of the capsules made from? Is it plastic? If yes, does it contain BPA?

    Answer: I'm sorry, but the leaflet only describes the contents of the capsule and not its construction.
  • Question: Can I take Flarin with prescription medication?

    Answer: It may affect or be affected by other medicines such as any other painkillers (or other NSAIDs), corticosteroids, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and lithium, cardiac glycosides, methotrexate, zidovudine, cyclosporine, mifepristone, tacrolimus, quinolone, any anticoagulants or high blood pressure medicines.
  • Question: Isn't this basically Ibuprofen rebranded?

    Answer: Possibly, I'm not an expert but the delivery system boasts 'lipids' though it is basically still ibuprofen in the same dose as generic brands. I think it is more effective but that may be psychosomatic or a placebo effect.
